EAGxBerlin 2026 – Applications are open
Join 600+ members of the European effective altruism community for three days of talks, workshops, and connections at Urania Berlin, from 13–15 November 2026.
Whether you’re new to effective altruism and ready to explore high-impact career paths, or an experienced community member looking to deepen your network, EAGxBerlin is waiting for you.
Apply now until October 25th 2026:
- Complete a short application (~5–15 minutes). To do so, open the link and click “Apply to attend”. We collect basic details about your interests and engagement with effective altruism.
- Our team will review your application. We aim to be in touch about your application regardless of outcome within 10 business days.
- Register for the conference (~5 minutes). If you’ve been accepted, you’ll receive an email with a link to register and confirm your place at the conference. At this stage you’ll be asked to provide dietary requirements and additional logistic details, indicate whether you’d like to volunteer, and have the option of donating to offset event costs.

EAGxBerlin welcomes both newcomers to Effective Altruism and those already professionally engaged in the community. The conference will cover a wide range of cause areas and is especially valuable for

EA Germany Retreat
About once a year, EA Germany organises a community retreat. The next one takes place in August, and you can apply now!
- Date and location: 14-16 August, close to Berlin in the “Naturfreundehaus Hermsdorfer Fließtal”.
- Who is it for? For around 30-50 people who are interested in Effective Altruism, have participated in an Intro Program, or have been involved with EA for a short or long time and would like to exchange ideas with like-minded people.
- Programme: The retreat is mostly participant-driven. Additionally, a few speakers will also give talks or hold workshops. There will be plenty of time to connect to other people interested in EA or organizing local groups across Germany.
- Language: English programme, with some conversations in German
