Effektiver Altruismus Deutschland (EAD) e.V. currently has four permanent team members who take care of the strategic management of the association, services for members of the movement in Germany and supervision of the programmes. Team Members
Sarah Tegeler
Director
Sarah (she/her) is responsible for the management and strategic direction of the organisation. She previously worked for several years at various foundations and organised the Hamburg local group for Effective Altruism on a voluntary basis. In her spare time, she plays the trombone and tries to keep her sourdough starter alive.
Dr. Patricia Stainer
Communications Manager
Patricia (she/her) is responsible for communications at EA Germany. She previously completed a doctorate in the field of theatre marketing and worked at various cultural institutions. She was in charge of the EAD newsletter for a year and was part of the EA Munich organisation team. In her spare time, she enjoys martial arts.
Christiane Ranke
Operations Associate
Chrissi (they/them) holds EAD together on the operational side and supports local groups and grantees. Chrissi is also the data protection officer for the association. In addition to this role, Christiane enjoys sewing and coaching and spends a lot of time in the bouldering hall.
Milena Canzler
Project Manager & Community Health
Milena (she/her) manages programmes for EAD and is the community health contact for the German EA community. Milena is certified in Mental Health First Aid. Outside of work, you can find her in the bouldering gym, on her bike or kneading her next yeast dough.
